What’s Next for these Traumatized Kids Some of the children will be sent to Connecticut. Their legal status will remain uncertain, their traumas debilitating. And, they will be denied what we believe to be the rights of every child in Connecticut to legal protection, education, health care and supports. At the Center for Children’s Advocacy, we fight for the rights of the most vulnerable children within Connecticut borders. Our clients include immigrant children, homeless and abused kids, and LGBTQ teens. We defend them using a brigade of pro-bono attorneys trained and supervised by CCA. We do it through the advocacy work in the CT Legislature. And we do it in coalition with counseling services and school systems. Can you help us protect and defend these kids? Thank you for your continued support and interest in helping Connecticut's vulnerable children. |
